Payment Policy: Cancellation and Refund

Payment

Airport Driver offers two payment options:
  1. Customer pays after service delivery (Some destinations may require full payment in advance.)
  2. Full payment during online booking process

Changes and cancellations by you

Any changes (e.g. flight delays) to transfer details must be requested in the 'Your Booking' section of the website prior to the travel date and will only take effect after checking with the driver and confirming by email.
  1. If you cancel up to 48 hours before the pickup time (as stated in the voucher), the cancellation fee is 25% of the original booking price.
  2. If you cancel between 48 and 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time (as indicated in the voucher), the cancellation fee is 50% of the original reservation price.
  3. If you cancel, within 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time (as stated in the voucher), the cancellation fee is 100% of the original booking price. Payment will not be refunded and if you have not paid in advance, you will be charged and asked to make the full payment.

Changes and cancellations by Airport Driver

  • We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate your vehicle preference, but we may need to arrange an alternative vehicle for operational or safety reasons. If we need to change your booking to a lower category or smaller vehicle for which a lower fare is available, we will refund you the difference.
  • In rare cases it may be necessary to cancel your trip. In such circumstances you will receive a 100% refund (which will be paid within 30 days) but we will have no further liability to you arising from such cancellation. We will however use our best endeavours to try to find suitable alternatives for any confirmed bookings subsequently cancelled by us.

Changes and cancellations by the supplier

  • In case of delay (flight) > 1 hour of the Customer, the driver is entitled to cancel the booking or charge for the additional waiting time (> 1 hour). In case of cancellation by the driver, the full amount paid by the customer will be refunded.
  • We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if the driver needs to make a significant change to your booking or cancel them. We will also use all reasonable efforts to find another suitable driver at no extra cost, but we will have no further liability to you.

Return Policy

  • Any contract cancellation must be made in writing by email to our customer service center.
  • If we receive your cancellation request more than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time of the transfer you wish to cancel, the amount paid for that transfer will be refunded, less 25% of the total booking amount. No amount will be refunded for cancellations received less than 24 hours after the scheduled time of the transfer you wish to cancel.
  • Refunds will be paid within 30 days.

Extra stops – Additional stop: 

  • Extra stops are not taken into account by the automatic price calculator, we consider additional stops as an additional service requested from the driver, each additional stop is charged at least 10 euros, the price is calculated based on the detour that separates the starting point from the arrival point.

Force majeure

  • Airport-Driver.be and your driver cannot be held responsible for delays, modifications or cancellations of service due to force majeure: (Weather, accident, pandemic, war, or other unforeseeable circumstances or circumstances beyond the control of the driver.
